On 27th we meet for the blessing ceremony which will be headed by Rev. T. Sutadhara, the head of the Ventura Buddhist Study Center, An-Lac Mission, Ventura CA 93003. This will begin at 11am followed by a potluck lunch.
For those of you who cannot attend this, you are welcome to the new moon meditation at 5pm when we journey inwards for housecleaning (self-discovery) and housekeeping (self- empowerment).

Sharmila has a Bachelor’s in Physics, a Masters in Computer Science. She has worked in corporate America for 12 years as a software engineer, analyst and manager. She is originally from India, a mother of three children and a resident of Ventura, California.
She explored retailing for two years before she delved deep into the study of personal growth and spirituality. She is a disciple of Paramahamsa Prajnananda Giri, the head of the Kriya Yoga Institute in North America.
Sharmila is certified as a clinical hypnotherapist from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) in Tarzana, CA, the one and only nationally accredited institute of hypnotherapy in the USA. She completed 720 hours of training in one year and she is currently is a guest lecturer at the institute.
Sharmila also received her Master Training in Imagery and Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the American Hypnosis Association. She is a Reiki Master in the school/lineage of Dr. Usui.
Sharmila is a certified Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) from the Association of Integrative Psychology and holds her own certification programs in NLP and Master NLP. She has her own training programs in hypnosis using a combination of hypnosis as taught and practiced by Elman, Esterbrooks, Erickson and Kappas. She offers workshops in

She is a student practitioner of Huna in the lineage of the Bray family and the James family. She is a student of Hula in the lineage of the Naope family. Uncle George Naope is from Kona and the founder of the famous Merry Monarch festival in Hawaii.
Sharmila has her practice in Ventura California and is the founder of the Ventura Healing Center. She is an internationally sought out therapist, coach and trainer.
