Jan. 2008 Full Moon retreatOur first retreat will be conducted by Rev. Thien Tu Huong Hai on
Living in the now, NOW!

It is on tuesday, the 22nd of Jan 2008. Full moon brings about completion of one lunar phase of the lunar cycle. It is a sacred honor and privilege to be blessed by the presence of a venerable who has travelled from Tweed, ON in Canada.
Reverend Huong Hai says Living in the past creates repentance and remorse. Living in the future brings in worries and anxieties. In order to be free and experience joy and love as it is meant to be, we must live in the present, right now.
We cannot begin to live in the present tomorrow or promise to start it later, when the work is done and we have time. Everything is here and now.
Rev. Hai is visiting Ventura from Toronto, ON, Canada. He is from the Zen Forest Monastery and is eager to share his knowledge from the life he leads everyday on how to incorporate the teachings of Buddha in our day to day life.
It is not about information, it is what you do with the information that counts.
Rev. Hai will teach us how to put the presented information to practice. This empowers us with a tool to incorporate into our every day survival in the urban society of the 21st century. We will have the honor of learning and practicing what we gathered from the talk. There will also be an open forum for Q & A. Rev. Hai is available for individual consultations, if needed. Spend an evening in the sangha. Share the Bliss.
Meditation begins at 7 PM in the Shrine room of the An-Lac Mission, Buddhist
Temple. Dharma Talk will be at the Healing center behind the temple following the meditation.
Light dinner will be provided during Dharma Talk.
Together we can make it happen....
Feb retreat will be blessed by Master Thich Thong Hai..... watch out for details or write to sm@lifepathguides.com to be included in the newsletter.
